"Threats to marriage and religious freedom" - Bishop Lennon's U.B. column

But two national threats have emerged that must concern us all, namely, government efforts to redefine marriage and subsequent laws and policies that threaten religious freedom.

Every 5 years each bishop makes an “ad limina” visit to the Vatican to meet with the Holy Father and the offices of the Holy See. Currently Bishop Lennon and his fellow bishops from Ohio and Michigan are in the Vatican for their visit.

On January 27th, nine Catholic parishes throughout the Diocese of Cleveland who completed their fundraising in support of the diocesan initiative, Rooted in Faith - Forward in Hope, received their first distribution check. The checks represent a portion of the share earned by each parish for funds raised on behalf of the Campaign.
