Mrs. Tracey Arnone has been selected to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Office of Catechetical Formation and Education. Mrs. Arnone, who has served as principal at St. Hilary School since 2011, will join the leadership team overseeing Catholic schools serving nearly 42,000 students across the diocese. Her duties will include ensuring that all Catholic schools in the Diocese are led by principals who foster faith formation and academic growth, supporting high quality instructional practice, pursuing continuous improvement among Catholic schools, and collaborating across the diocesan system to further the mission of Catholic education.
Arnone, who earned her Master of Education degree from the University of Akron, is an experienced leader in both public and Catholic schools, having served as teacher, assistant principal and principal in the Wadsworth City School District prior to her move to leadership of Sacred Heart School in Wadsworth, where she served for 9 years prior to becoming Principal at St. Hilary School.

In addition, Mrs. Jennifer Woodman has been named principal of St. Hilary School in Akron, effective with the 2018-2019 school year. Mrs. Woodman is an Akron area native and St. Hilary School alumna who has served as the school’s assistant principal since 2016.
