Clergy Assignment Changes – September 2017

The following appointment was made by Bishop Daniel Thomas, Apostolic Administrator:

Father Franz Dool was granted a year extension to his leave of absence for personal reasons, effective Aug. 1.

 

These appointments were made by Bishop Nelson Perez:

Father Donald P. Oleksiak was appointed to the ecclesiastical office of vicar general of the Diocese of Cleveland for a five-year term, effective Sept. 15. Father Oleksiak also was appointed for a five-year term to the ecclesiastical office of moderator of the curia, effective Sept. 15.

Father Gary D. Yanus was appointed to the ecclesiastical office of vicar general of the Diocese of Cleveland for a five-year term, effective Sept. 15.  Father Yanus also was appointed for a five-year term to the ecclesiastical office of judicial vicar, effective Sept. 15.

Father Lawrence Jurcak, pastor, St. John Bosco Parish, Parma Heights, was reappointed as presbyteral convener of the Suburban Southwest District effective Sept. 6, and resumes his term of office on the Presbyteral Council concluding on May 31, 2019.

Father Robert J. Jasany, pastor, St. John Nepomucene Parish, Cleveland, was reappointed as presbyteral convener of the Cleveland Southeast District effective Sept. 6, and resumes his term of office on Presbyteral Council concluding on May 31, 2020.

Father Joseph P. Boznar, pastor, St. Vitus Parish, Cleveland, was reappointed as presbyteral convener of the Cleveland Central East District effective Sept. 6, and resumes his term of office on Presbyteral Council concluding on May 31, 2020.

Father Joseph G. Workman, pastor, St. Clement and St. James parishes, both in Lakewood, was reappointed as presbyteral convener of the Suburban West District effective Sept. 6, and resumes his term of office on Presbyteral Council concluding on May 31, 2020.
