The Reverend Mr. John M. Miklosovic

Permanent Deacon, Diocese of Cleveland

 

died, Thursday, October 27, 2005, at his home after having received the prayerful support and consolation of the Sacraments.  Reverend Mr. Miklosovic had lung cancer and kidney failure.

John M. Miklosovic was born on February 2, 1940 in Muskegon, Michigan. John graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School in 1957. He was a retired salesman for Clarke Industries.

John married Dorothy Mary Kwoled on July 25, 1959. Their marriage brought them two children: Julie Ann Miklosovic and Bradley John Miklosovic (Christine) and six grandchildren.

John was ordained to the diaconate on May 22, 1993 in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Cleveland, Ohio, by the Most Reverend Anthony M. Pilla. Following his ordination, he was assigned to St. Ambrose Parish in Brunswick. At the parish he exercised a full liturgical ministry including preaching, baptizing and witnessing marriages. He also was involved with RCIA, PSR, catechetical ministry, and bereavement ministry.
