The Office of Evangelization is here to offer a presence of love and friendship in spreading the Good News of the salvation in Jesus Christ and to promote the mission of the Catholic Church. The office provides resources, talks, retreats, and training for parishes, schools and organizations throughout the Diocese of Cleveland on how to be missionary disciples in evangelizing churches who go forth to spread the Gospel message.
What is FORMED?
- 2/1/19 Introductory webinar – There will be a free introductory webinar with a tour of FORMED content and resources.
- 2/1 – 3/15/19 Free trial of FORMED – All parishes that do not have FORMED will be given free trial access to evaluate it as a resource for your parish ministries.
- 2/21/19 (Evening in Spanish) and 2/22/19 (All Day in English) FORMED training workshops – For all those opting in, you must send at least 2 representatives from your parish (Location to be announced) for special trainings led by professionals from Augustine Institute on how to successfully utilize FORMED. The training will include effective practices for promotion, explanation of present resources available and what’s coming soon and how to join in with diocesan activities related to this project.
- 3/15/19 Last day to opt-in and subscribe to FORMED at no cost
- 4/21/19 An Easter roll-out of FORMED as a diocesan event
Further details will be forthcoming. The Offices of Evangelization and Catechetical Formation and Education are working with the Augustine Institute to promote these resources and workshops to be of greater service to parishes, with the special goal of collaborating to increase evangelization and faith formation efforts.

Diocese of Cleveland Convocation Team Presentations Available
In July 2017, a 10 person Convocation Team from the Diocese of Cleveland attended the USCCB’s Joy of the Gospel Convocation. Team members are ready and willing to share their insights from the Convocation along with the vision for Living as Missionary Disciples with any parish, school, or organization in the Diocese of Cleveland.

The Office of Stewardship and The Office of Evangelization are beginning a new process to help in the discovery and discernment of an individual’s charisms in order to live the vision as presented in our Catholic Tradition and in The Joy of the Gospel, where Pope Francis is asking us to create missionary disciples in evangelizing churches.
