Dignity lost: What to do with the cremated remains of our loved ones? Print E-mail

190[1] Catholic_Cemeteries_Association_200The Catholic Cemeteries Association, Diocese of Cleveland has produced a brief video spot titled, A Life Worth Remembering.  The video spot brings to the viewer's attention a growing problem for Catholic families, for funeral home directors and for the Catholic Cemeteries Association.  What to do with the cremated remains of our Catholic loved ones?

The Catholic cemeteries in the eight-county Diocese of Cleveland are places of hope, faith and remembrance.  Many Catholic families who have made the choice of cremating a loved one are now wondering what to do with the cremated remains of their relative?  The Catholic Cemeteries Association is available to answer questions that members of the Catholic faith community may have regarding the permanent and respectful placement of the remains of a loved one.
