Called to be Church: From Believers to Disciples, Annual Celebration of Faith and Culture, 18 September 2009, 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain
The Office of Hispanic Ministry would be delighted if you could join us for our annual Celebration of Faith and Culture entitled, “Called to be Church: From Believers to Disciples” on Friday, 18 September 2009. The Most Reverend Roger Gries, Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland, will be the main celebrant of the Eucharistic celebration. This will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. The Most Reverend José Luis Escobar Alas, the Archbishop of El Salvador, will be concelebrant and homilist. A reception will follow in the church hall with delicious international foods, desserts and entertainment.
The following day Saturday, 19 September 2009, the Office will offer a workshop in Spanish and English simultaneously from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at La Sagrada Familia, 7719 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. The theme will be on Evangelization in response to Bishop Lennon’s letter to the Cluster Project and will be presented by Reverend William Thaden and Sr. Cathy McConnell of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain.
