United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is an assembly of the hierarchy of the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands who jointly exercise certain pastoral functions on behalf of the Christian faithful of the United States.  They offer many resources and programs on various topics related to the practice of the faith.

Paulist National Catholic Evangelization Association (PNCEA) The Paulist National Catholic Evangelization Association builds up the body of Christ by equipping active Catholics for the work of evangelization and by proclaiming the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ to inactive Catholics and the unchurched.  PNCEA was established in 1977.  It encourages active Catholics to invite inactive Catholics to return to the Church and those with no church family to join the Catholic family of believers. www.pncea.org

We can move away from the Church for many reasons. This takes a look at the most common ones. God continues to love you despite anything that has been part of the past. Sometimes we simply yearn to hear the words, "C'mon back." That's the message this site provides.

National Workshop on Christian Unity

In 1963, a group of Roman Catholics, in the context of Vatican II, saw a need to equip local leadership for the task of ecumenical ministry.  In 1969, they invited leaders of other Christian communions to join them, and today the national ecumenical officers of the churches continue their oversight of the workshop, which is planned by national and local committees.  There are both denominational and ecumenical sessions during the workshop.  The annual conference is held in a different city each year.

Secretariat for African American Catholics of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops The Secretariat for African American Catholics serves as the chief advisor to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in fulfilling its ministry to African American Catholics in the United States. The Secretariat has as its function the coordination of responses regarding ministry, evangelization, and worship in the African American Community on the national level. The work of the Secretariat is guided by the Bishops' Committee on African American Catholics whose primary mission is to encourage the development and assist in the implementation of pastoral programs in relation to evangelization and incorporation into the local church of racial, ethnic, cultural and language groups within the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. www.nccbuscc.org/saac/ 
The National Black Catholic Congress We, The National Black Catholic Congress, comprised of member organizations, represent African American Roman Catholics, working in collaboration with National Roman Catholic organizations.
