Required Diocesan Compliance

 
         
 

The Diocese of Cleveland's Protecting God's Children program is a continuing effort to instruct and inform everyone about the protection of children from sexual abuse.

 

As a Candidate in the Diocesan Lay Ecclesial Ministry program you are expected to be in the process of completing and must have completed before certification the diocesan compliance pieces listed below.

 

As a Certified Lay Ecclesial Minister you are expected to be in full compliance with diocesan requirements which include:

  • BCII Fingerprint check on file with the Pastoral Ministry Office

  • Completed on-site VIRTUS training and at least 24 on-line bulletins and mailed a report to the Pastoral Ministry Office

  • Completed a Standards of Conduct Acknowledgement Form and mailed it to the Office

  • Completed a Policy for the Safety of Children in Matters of Sexual Abuse revised 2007 Form and mailed it to the Office
