VIRTUS/Fingerprints

Fingerprinting and Virtus onsite training and online follow-up is expected of all in formation for certification and those who are already certified lay ministers.

CORRESPONDENCE  TO  CERTIFIED  PASTORAL  MINISTERS

As Certified Lay Ecclesial Ministers, you are expected to be in full compliance with diocesan requirements which includes:

  • BCII Finterprint check on file with the Pastoral Ministry Office

  • Completed on-site VIRTUS training and at least 24 on-line bulletins and mailed a report to the Pastoral Ministry Office

  • Completed a Standards of Conduct Acknowledgement Form and mailed it to the Office

  • Completed a Policy for the Safety of Children in Matters of Sexual Abuse Form revised 2007 and mailed it to the Office
