Fall Conference of Religions
Sunday, September 29 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
“PEACE VS. PREJUDICE: BUILDING BRIDGES FOR PEACE FROM THE RESOURCES OF OUR RELIGIONS”
Prejudice is often not recognized as what contributes to the tensions that erupt in hostility of human beings toward each other. Those resources that help us handle prejudice and elevate the human dignity of a person create a foundation for peace in human society. While war happens because of many factors, we should not underestimate the role of prejudice that can often pave the way to armed hostility.
Conference of Religions is made up of members of the Christian, Jewish, Baha’i, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist traditions.
