Youth Mental Health First Aid Virtual Workshop (Tuesday)
Tuesday, April 20 from 9:00am - 3:00pm
All those who work with teens in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland - especially youth and campus ministers, youth ministry volunteers, catechists, teachers, and parents - are invited to participate in this ONLINE workshop.
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This 6.5 hour training gives adults the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents and transition aged youth (ages 12-21) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This is a FREE training due to generous funding from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (a $170 value).
You will be expected to complete 1.5 hours of online self-paced work.
Registration closes March 22.
