The Edward G. and Mary E. Mansour Aquinas Lecture - THE LIFE OF THE MIND AND THE VIRTUE OF CHARITY
Saturday, February 26 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Each year, Borromeo Seminary hosts the Aquinas Lecture in Philosophy. Invited lecturers address perennial questions, especially those relevant for philosophy studies at the seminary. Zena Hitz, author of the recent award-winning book, Lost in Thought: The Hidden Pleasures of an Intellectual Life, will consider the life of the mind in light of St. Thomas Aquinas’s account of charity (love). What does it mean to read, study, and write in charity? All are invited to this free lecture.
