Black Catholic History Rosary & Adoration

In honor of Black Catholic History Month and to celebrate the diocesan year of Eucharistic Revival, the African American Catholic community will be hosting weekly prayer services throughout the month of November. We will pray with reflections on the mysteries of the Rosary created in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights movement.

The prayer services will begin at 7 pm and rotate weekly, a different day each week, in order to have the opportunity to pray each of the mysteries.

  • Luminous Mysteries | Civil Rights Causes. Thursday, Nov 10 at St. Aloysius / St. Agatha, 10932 St Clair Ave., Cleveland.
  • Sorrowful Mysteries | Black Catholic Historical Documents. Tuesday, Nov 15 at Our Lady of Peace, 12601 Shaker Blvd, Cleveland.
  • Joyful Mysteries | Education, Social & Economic Justice. Monday, Nov 21 at St. Agnes / Our Lady of Fatima, 6800 Lexington Ave, Cleveland.
  • Glorious Mysteries | The Black Catholic Response. Wednesday, Nov 30 at St. Adalbert/Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament,2347 E 83rd St, Cleveland.
