Veritas Seminar - Session 6: Morality and Moral Controversies

Veritas Seminars are for anyone interested in becoming more deeply acquainted with topics in philosophy, theology, and religious studies.
Session VI Description:
This seminar provides students with an overview of several influential moral theories, with an emphasis on the implications of those theories for particular moral controversies, such as debates over abortion and euthanasia. Pre-reading may include chapters of Justice: What’s the Right Thing to Do? by Michael Sandel.
Note: There is no prerequisite for this or any other Veritas Seminar. However, participants in Session 6 are strongly encouraged to complete Session 5 first.
