Make a charitable donation to the Angel Scholarship Fund and “turn tax dollars into tuition” through an Ohio income tax credit of up to $750 ($1,500 if married filing jointly) against your 2022 state tax liability. Office for Marriage and Family Ministry

SS. Anne & Joachim Grandparent & Seniors Workshop | May 31, 9am-2pm | Holy Martyrs, Medina
Grandparents are vital to passing on the faith. The Vicar for Evangelization, in collaboration with the offices of Marriage and Family Ministry, Missionary Discipleship, Youth Ministry and Young Adult Ministry, will offer another SS. Anne and Joachim Grandparent & Seniors Workshop.  After the original four workshops in March and April, with the final one selling out, requests were made to hold another session.

Parish staff who are looking to minister better to this population are highly encouraged to attend.  Please help promote this to your parish. Download the flyer for your bulletin from the registration page.

This will be an opportunity to talk about ways that grandparents can share their faith with their grandchildren and offer some practical tools that can be used. The workshop will include brunch and a closing Mass. Cost is $10 per person. Register online

Youth Ministry

Blessed Carlo Institute for Youth Ministers | August 9-12, 2022 | Center for Pastoral Leadership
The Blessed Carlo Institute for Youth Ministers is a four-day, three-night formation experience that includes classes each morning taught by seminary professors, afternoon workshops by ministry experts, off-campus excursions, daily Mass, and more. It is part of a three-year curriculum, though each summer stands alone and will not be a pre-requisite for the following year. It will be a key component of youth ministry certification from our diocese, and will be available as part of a 1-credit MA course in Pastoral Theology from St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology.

Adults who minister to youth in grades 6-12 as parish youth ministers, school campus ministers, pastoral ministers, catechists, volunteers, and more are encouraged to attend. Pastors, please consider asking your staff members who work with youth to attend and consider covering the fee for their training.

Memorial Day Masses – Monday, May 30th:
Catholic Cemeteries Association will celebrate Memorial Day Mass at various cemetery locations and three parishes on Monday, May 30, 2022.  Several Cemetery Masses will be outdoors so please inform parishioners to bring a lawn chair and an umbrella in case of inclement weather.  Mass times are 10 a.m. except where noted as 8:30 a.m., 9 a.m., or 9:30 a.m.  Visit the “Events” tab on our website for specific locations and times of the Memorial Day Masses as well as other memorial events throughout the year.   If you have further questions please contact Rhonda at 216-930-4866.
