Eucharistic Revival Ballpark Mass

Join us for a bilingual Mass in celebration of the Solemnity of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. Mass will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Edward C. Malesic. National Eucharistic Preacher, Father Rafael Capo from the Archdiocese of Miami will preach the homily.

Doors and concession stands will open at 5:30pm so that you can enjoy your favorite ballpark foods. The celebration of the Mass will begin at 7:00pm with a Eucharistic procession immediately following from the stadium to St. Bernard's Church which is 0.5 miles away. At the parish, you are invited to stay for an XLT adoration prayer service. The event should conclude by approximately 9:30 pm.

In the case of rain, we will celebrate Mass at St. Bernard's Church at 7 pm, followed by XLT.

About our homilist:

Fr. Rafael Capó, Vice President for Mission and Ministry and Dean of Theology at St Thomas University, is a priest of the Archdiocese of Miami, a Missionary of Mercy by appointment of Pope Francis, and National Eucharistic Preacher by appointment of the US Conference of Bishops. He formerly served as director of the Southeast Bishops Office for Hispanic Ministry (SEPI). He has served as school president, vocations director, and professor of Theology, holding degrees in Educational Leadership and Theology. He participates in all major organizations of Hispanic Ministry, the V Encuentro Leadership Team, and is advisor to La Red National Network of Pastoral Juvenil. He is actively present on social media with an emphasis in ministry to young people calling to fitness of body, mind, and spirit.
