Gennesaret's Home Run for the Homeless

Gennesaret, Inc is an all-volunteer non-profit corporation in Akron that has been housing and feeding the poor of Akron for the past 40 years. The Home Run for the Homeless is a fund raiser for Gennesaret and 100% of the proceeds go to serving the poor. It funds Gennesaret's operations all year long since its overhead is low as an all-volunteer organization and it works to get as much food and supplies donated as possible. The 1-mile walk starts at 8:30 and the cost is $5 and the 4-mile run starts at 9:00 and the cost is $30.
