Bishop begins re-opening meetings with St. Peter Members

Cleveland Bishop Richard Lennon has written to the priests and deacons in the Diocese of Cleveland clarifying the matter concerning the Rev. Robert Marrone. In lieu of incorrect media reports, here is the status update.

Dear Priests and Deacons,

I write to inform you of the sequence of recent events regarding Rev. Robert J. Marrone.

At the same time this update letter was issued, Bishop Lennon continued his meetings with members for the reopening of parishes as mandated by the Vatican Congregation for Clergy. A meeting with members from St. Peter's parish in downtown Cleveland was held on Thursday.
