During this time of year as our Jewish brothers and sisters celebrate their great “festival of lights,” I offer Happy Hanukkah greetings to the entire Jewish community in Northeast Ohio. As you light each night another lamp on the menorah recalling the rededication of the temple so many centuries ago, may you find joy and hope illuminated by the brightness of the bonds of faith, family and friends. The Catholic community in the Diocese of Cleveland shares your joy as together we pray for peace on Earth and goodwill to all.
