Being hospitalized or having a loved one hospitalized can be a very difficult experience. While most hospitals have spiritual care departments, Catholics may wish to receive the sacraments or have a priest visit them while they are hospitalized. While parish priests appreciate knowing when a parishioner is ill or in the hospital, they may not be able to visit them.
As an extension of the care and concern of our parishes, the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland is blessed to be able to facilitate the ministry of full-time Catholic priest-chaplains in many of our large hospitals throughout the diocese.

If your hospital is not listed, a local neighborhood parish is responsible for the care of patients. Again, please ask the nursing staff who can facilitate the contact for you. Please know of our prayers!
