The Office of Hispanic Ministry main goal is to share the Kingdom of God. Centered in Jesus Christ we participate in His mission by serving the Hispanic community of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.
The Office of Hispanic Ministry aims to integrate the common vision of the National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry according to gospel values and Catholic Church teachings.
In the spirit of pastoral de conjunto, the Office of Hispanic Ministry collaborates with other diocesan offices and parishes to serve the Hispanic community by providing pastoral formation, and spiritual and human support to Hispanics throughout the eight counties of the Diocese.
"Pastoral de conjunto" is collaborative leadership, doing the mission of Jesus together in the areas of faith formation, leadership, young adult ministry, marriage and family life, social justice, and cultural celebrations. We also provide support and pastoral resources for evangelization to apostolic movements and parish groups, as well as serve as liaison with ecumenical and social organizations in Cleveland.
We value, appreciate and strengthen the gift and values of “Faith, Family and Fiesta” that Hispanics bring to the Body of Christ, a loving appreciation for God's gift of life, and an authentic and consistent devotion to Mary, the Mother of God. (The Hispanic Presence: Challenge and Commitment, #3)
"An Encounter with Love" is a marriage enrichment retreat for Hispanic couples. The retreat themes focus on strengthening their relationship with each other, with their family, and with God. For more information, please call (216) 696-6525 x4300.
Join the Bishops of NE Ohio for a listening session and small group discussions on how to respond to the increasing rhetoric about race in our community while also exploring our own convictions about cultural diversity in American and the Church.
