The Office of Marriage and Family Ministry offers a range of services and resources to respond to the needs of individuals, couples, and families, as they live out their Catholic faith. Retreats, training and formation opportunities are available for clergy, lay leaders, parish staff and school personel.
We care about marriages and aim to help with Marriage formation and enrichment by collaborating with offices in the diocese and outside organizations to develop coordinated programming for youth and young adults discerning their vocation; as well as, the implementation of the Marriage Catechumenate. 'We focus on the Domestic Church and the lifelong support of the sacrament in its different seasons and stages in life.
We support individuals and couples with marriage preparation resources and enrichment resources, opportunities and events that help build a thriving marriage.
We assist Families in the Diocese and staff with best practices for accompaniment through the many complicated situations they encounter.
We are responsible for the Hope and Healing components of pastoral care, connecting folks with resources to help individuals and families get through life’s struggles or bereavement needs.
We are responsible for Human Sexuality components of care for the human person and families including but not limited to collaborating with internal offices; but also, family groups, schools, and outside organizations.
