The work of the Office for Human Life is not merely programmatic—it is pastoral, catechetical, and missionary.
These reflections are offered as a way of interpreting the signs of the times through the lens of the Gospel of Life. Drawing from Sacred Scripture, Catholic social teaching, and the lived experiences of our local Church, they seek to form conscience, foster encounter, and invite deeper discipleship.
Each month’s reflection names where human life and dignity are being threatened, where they are being upheld, and how we—as missionary disciples—are being called to respond through prayer, learning, service, and advocacy. These reflections are also shared monthly through the Office for Human Life newsletter, which you are invited to subscribe to in order to receive each new reflection as it is released.
Toward a More Coherent Witness
A New Year invitation to examine whether our Catholic faith—or other loyalties—is shaping our moral convictions, and to grow toward a more coherent, compassionate witness to the Gospel of Life.
In a divided culture, the work of serving life begins with encounter--making room for one another and rediscovering the unity we already share.
