Modification of particular law regarding stipends for bination and trination
Bishop Malesic has modified diocesan particular law regarding the destination for stipends for second and third Masses of the day (prot. n. 808/2021). Previously, these were required to be sent to the diocesan Chancery for the purpose of priestly formation. Now, at the discretion of the priest, these may alternatively be sent to a missionary priest, either directly or via the Diocesan Office for the Propagation of the Faith. All priests should print this page containing the modification to policy §901.3.1 and insert it into their copies of the 2009 Clergy Personnel Handbook – Book I: Priests.

The special second collection is scheduled in our parishes for the weekend of 25-26 September 2021.
