1st Grade Teacher: Sts. Peter & Paul School and Early Learning Center Doylestown

Sts. Peter & Paul School seeks a 1st Grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

Required Education and Certifications: • Must have a valid Ohio Teaching License or be in the process of obtaining one. • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field • Candidates must complete satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks and must participate in a VIRTUS Protecting God & Children training, safe environment seminar Snapshot of Primary Duties: • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences, using a variety of learning materials and resources. • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans. • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. • Prepare the classroom for class activities. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, stand, talk, walk, sit, see, and hear (corrected or uncorrected). • The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Must be able to go up and down stairs. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Experience: Teaching: 1-2 years (Preferred)
