Fourth Grade Reading and Religion and 4/5 Science Teacher (4th Grade Homeroom) St. Angela Merici Parish School, located in Fairview Park, is looking to fill our full-time position with a qualified teacher as part of our SAM School family for the 2026-27 school year. This position is departmentalized with the candidate teaching 2 sections each of 4th and 5th grade Science instruction as well as 4th grade Reading and Religion instruction.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: Love of Reading, Religion and Catholic faith practices as a fourth grade homeroom teacher~Will be teaching both additional subjects Possesses a strong command of science curriculum standards for Grades 4 and 5, with the ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction that promotes deep conceptual understanding and fluency. Effectively employs a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students. An eagerness to learn, be part of a team, and contribute to a positive school culture at SAM School Strength in the area of differentiated instruction~Ability to implement tiered instruction, remediation and enrichment to our fourth and fifth grade students Strength in the area of nurturing classroom management strategies and techniques involving student ownership, responsibility and reflective practice
