We are seeking an outstanding English Language Arts teacher who values collaboration, data-informed instruction, and the integration of Catholic faith into daily learning. The Role
The 4th/5th Grade English Language Arts Teacher will serve as a homeroom teacher while leading ELA instruction for upper elementary students.
This teacher will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned ELA instruction using the Wonders curriculum
- Foster strong literacy skills in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
- Integrate Catholic values and faith-based perspectives into literature and writing experiences
- Use student data to drive instructional decisions and support individual growth
- Maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment rooted in high expectations
- Collaborate closely with the 4th and 5th grade team, as well as upper and lower grade ELA teachers, to ensure vertical alignment and excellence
- Partner with families to support student success
Class sizes are capped at 25 students, allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships while maintaining high academic standards.

Qualifications
Required
- Current Ohio teaching license (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Commitment to supporting the mission of Catholic education
Preferred
- Middle Childhood (4–9) licensure with Reading/Language Arts concentration
- Experience teaching upper elementary ELA
- Familiarity with Wonders curriculum
- Strong understanding of literacy development and data-driven instruction
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000–$60,000 depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits, retirement options, ongoing professional development, support for continuing education, and opportunities for leadership growth within the school.
