5th Grade Teacher: St. Jerome

St. Jerome School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Fifth Grade Teacher to join our school community. We are looking for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, fosters a positive classroom environment, and supports the spiritual and moral development of students.

Position Overview The Fifth Grade Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports the intellectual, social, and spiritual growth of each student. This individual will plan and deliver instruction aligned with curriculum standards while integrating Catholic values throughout the school day. Responsibilities The teacher will develop and implement daily lesson plans across core subject areas, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. They will assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents and school staff. Maintaining a structured, respectful, and fostering a love of learning among students. The teacher will also participate in school activities, faculty meetings, and faith-based events that support the mission of St. Jerome School.

Qualifications Candidates should hold a valid teaching license appropriate for elementary education. A strong background in instructional best practices and classroom management is important. The ideal candidate demonstrates effective communication skills, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to Catholic education. Practicing Catholic candidates are preferred.
