5th grade teacher: St. Jerome School

St. Jerome School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and faith-filled educator to serve as our Fifth Grade Teacher. The successful candidate will foster a positive and engaging classroom environment, deliver high-quality instruction aligned with diocesan and state standards, and support the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of students.

Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subject areas. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs. Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily classroom life. Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support student success. Participate in school Masses, faith formation activities, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities. Maintain accurate student records and classroom documentation.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain licensure. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to academic excellence and student-centered learning. Practicing Catholic preferred, but all qualified candidates who support the mission of Catholic education are encouraged to apply.
