6-8 Upper School Theology: St. Angela Merici School

Upper School Theology Teacher, Grades 6, 7, and 8~7th Grade Homeroom for the 2026-27school year St. Angela Merici Parish School, located in Fairview Park, is looking to fill one full-time position with a qualified teacher-minister as part of its SAM School family for the 2026-27 school year. The position is part of a departmentalized Upper School, grades six through eight.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: Love of Religion and Roman Catholic Faith practices as a seventh grade homeroom teacher and grades 6, 7, and 8 theology instructor Ability and expertise in Catholic Doctrine and teaching with focus on reflective student ownership in classroom practices Well versed in the history of the Roman Catholic Church and grades 6, 7, and 8 Diocesan curriculum implementation Excitement for and collaboration with Parish team in eighth grade Sacramental Preparation practices with our SAM School students An eagerness to learn, be part of a team, and contribute to a positive school culture at SAM School Strength in the areas of Service and Stewardship preferred as our Catholic Identity School Improvement Goal Insight into STEAM instruction and integration of project based learning in the classroom environment
