Position Overview Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish seeks a full-time Bulletin Editor & Administrative Assistant to support the pastor, parish staff, and parishioners in daily operations. This position serves as a welcoming presence in the parish office and ensures accurate communication and sacramental record-keeping. Schedule Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Primary Responsibilities • Create and format the weekly parish bulletin; coordinate content and maintain deadlines. • Maintain sacramental records (Baptism, Marriage, Confirmation, etc.) according to diocesan norms. • Prepare and print baptismal and sponsor certificates. • Answer phones and welcome parishioners and visitors with hospitality. • Maintain the parish master calendar and coordinate scheduling. • Provide general administrative support to the pastor and business manager. Qualifications • Strong written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Publisher or similar layout software preferred). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Comfort working in a Catholic parish environment.
