Advanced Math Teacher: Sts. Joseph & John School

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Middle School Advanced Math Teacher to join our faculty. This position includes teaching advanced middle school math with a focus on Grade 8 Algebra I for high school credit. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics, able to differentiate instruction for advanced learners, and committed to supporting both academic growth and spiritual development.

Qualifications: Must hold a current Ohio teaching license in Mathematics that qualifies for teaching Algebra I for high school credit. Strong instructional skills, with the ability to challenge advanced students while fostering a supportive learning environment. Willingness to complete VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training (if not already certified). Ability to successfully complete an Ohio background check. Commitment to the Catholic mission and values of Saints Joseph and John School. Responsibilities: Teach advanced middle school math courses, including Grade 8 Algebra I for high school credit. Develop engaging, rigorous lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency in math instruction. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support for continued growth. Foster a positive, faith-filled classroom environment that supports both academic and personal development.
