Assistant Principal: Sts. Joseph & John School

Assistant Principal (PreK–8) Saints Joseph & John School - Strongsville, Ohio Saints Joseph & John School, a Catholic PreK–8 school in the Diocese of Cleveland, is seeking a faith-filled, collaborative leader to serve as Assistant Principal. This position supports the Principal in advancing the mission of Catholic education and promoting academic excellence, student growth, and a positive school culture rooted in Gospel values.

Primary Responsibilities Support and actively promote the mission, philosophy, and Catholic identity of the school in alignment with the Diocese of Cleveland Assist the Principal with daily administrative and operational leadership Support student life, discipline, and school climate using developmentally appropriate and restorative practices Assist with curriculum implementation and instructional practices aligned with Diocese of Cleveland and State of Ohio standards Support teacher growth through classroom observations, feedback, and collaboration Assist with assessment review, school improvement initiatives, and professional development

Qualifications Practicing Catholic in good standing who supports the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church Valid Ohio teaching license; administrative licensure Minimum of 3–5 years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a K–8 Catholic school setting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, faculty, parish leadership, and diocesan personnel Application Information Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and references to: Jennifer Francis jfrancis@sjjschool.org.
