Computer/STREAM Teacher (Preschool - 8th Grades)

Computer/STREAM Teacher provides technology instruction and fosters creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking for students in Preschool through Grade 8. This role includes developing and delivering technology and STREAM lessons, integrating 21st-century skills, and performing standard teaching responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
• Successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade levels preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of current instructional methods, educational pedagogy, and differentiated instruction
• Knowledge of technology curriculum, computer concepts, and data systems, including data analysis and action planning
• Familiarity with federal and state education laws
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong initiative, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to integrate technology and 21st century learning into daily instruction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace for Education, online gradebooks, and instructional software
• Management of school devices, WiFi and network
• Ability to facilitate STREAM learning experiences
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and coordination skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with administration, staff, students, and families
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
• Ability to build and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships
• High proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
