St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Avon Job Description - Cook Part Time Non Exempt position Seeking a part time cook to shop and prepare nutritious meals for our pastor, parochial vicars and guests, as well as clean up after meal preparation. Duties include, but are not limited to, meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking and maintaining a clean kitchen. Prior cooking experience and reliability required.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and prepare meals three to four times per week Create balanced, nutritious menus Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences Grocery shop and manage food inventory Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food preparation areas Occasionally prepare meals for parish meetings or small gatherings

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent and higher education experience preferred Prior Rectory cooking experience preferred but experience in catering or similar hospitality environments welcomed. Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Respect for the mission and values of the Catholic Church Reliable transportation for grocery shopping References Required Fingerprinting and Background Check required 15 - 20 hours per week.
