Director of Preschool/Lead Teacher: St. Anselm School

Saint Anselm School in Chesterland is seeking a caring, energetic, and faith-filled Full Time Preschool Director and Four Year Old Lead Teacher to join our Early Education Team-2026-2027 School Year. Director Of Preschool/Lead Teacher

Responsibilities: Oversee daily preschool operations and ensure licensing compliance; Schedules and leads weekly lesson plan meetings with preschool teachers to ensure that all classrooms are following diocesan curriculum; Collaborating with the preschool team and school staff; Teach Four Year Old Classes; Integrating Catholic values and faith into daily classroom experiences; Maintain a welcoming, safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment; Assess student progress through observation and age-appropriate evaluation methods, using results to guide instruction; Manage enrollment and tours throughout the calendar year; Plan and facilitate special events throughout the year: Back to School Night, Welcome days in August, Conferences, Open House, Christmas Concert, and Graduation; Maintain communication posting weekly newsletters; Uphold professional relationships with colleagues, students, parents, and community members; Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance early childhood education practices

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education; valid State of Ohio license (current and active license); knowledge of Preschool State licensing requirements; possess or be willing to obtain the required religion certification for the Diocese of Cleveland; complete BCI and FBI background checks, and Virtus training.
