Facilities Maintenance: St. Casimir

Facilities Maintenance: Full-Time Position St Casimir Parish, 18022 Neff Road, Cleveland, OH. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team. As a maintenance worker you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well maintained, safe, and functional. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach able to work independently. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of building maintenance and repair practices.

Responsibilities and Duties: * Maintain effective liaison with the Facilities Manager, communicate and resolve issues, and identifying those that need attention. * Check the functionality of safety systems, including alarms and ensure that they are properly set and reset as required. Maintaining safety logs. * Perform minor repairs as needed throughout the property in the scope of plumbing, basic electrical changing bulbs replacing light fixtures, ceiling tiles, broken windows, communicate any need for building repairs to Facilities Manager. * Inspect and troubleshot HVAC systems and electrical control panels to identify issues. * Upkeep of church grounds - grass mowing, snow removal, trimming, hedging and garbage removal and not limited to mopping, sweeping. * Cleaning of church floors and windows * Basic maintenance of facilities equipment, mowers snowblowers, floor scrubbers etc. * Operate a light duty pick-up truck equipped with a snowplow. * Coordinate with tradesmen for major facility repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, Valid Driver License, Able to lift 40 pounds, General knowledge of routine building maintenance, Ability to prioritize and multitask. This position requires VIRTUS certification and FBI/BCI background check once hired.
