Finance/Accounting Assistant: Our Lady of the Elms

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review and enter vendor bills to ensure proper expense allocation Prepare & process accounts payable requirements for payment approval by the President while supporting the budget process Prepare & record journal entries and assist with audit preparation Produce financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and additional reports as requested Prepare & maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist with tax payments Demonstrate excellent writing and verbal skills Demonstrate strong organization and attention to detail Uphold and enforce school policies and communicate positive support of the school to the public in word and deed Maintain confidentiality of records and information regarding faculty and staff in accordance with accepted professional ethics and state and federal laws Maintain appropriate work habits, including professional, collaborative relationships with other staff members Regular and punctual attendance Perform all other duties as required
Qualifications: Working knowledge of ADP and QuickBooks Working knowledge of Google Suite and MS Excel Bachelor's in finance, accounting, or mathematics, and/ora high school diploma with relevant experience Appropriate criminal records check by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Have attended or are willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training.
