Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled teacher to join our faculty. We are a small, family oriented school with one class per grade located in the Gordon Square neighborhood of Cleveland. The ideal candidate will nurture the academic, spiritual, and social development of young learners while integrating Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction. This position is a fourth grade homeroom as well as Math, Science and Social Studies for our 4th and 5th graders. The 5th grade homeroom teacher will be a partner teacher.
Responsibilities include: *planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with state and diocesan standards *foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered classroom environment *using a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Candidates must be or willing to complete VIRTUS training, complete FBI/BCI background check and have a State of Ohio teaching license.
