St. Benedict Catholic School is seeking a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher (Grades 6–8) for the 2026-2027 school year. St. Benedict is a faith-filled Catholic school dedicated to academic excellence and the development of the whole child—spiritually, academically, and socially.
Position Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction for students in grades 6–8 Develop students’ skills in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature analysis Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student growth Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student success Support the mission and values of Catholic education Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, and professional development
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility to obtain one Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to collaboration and professional growth
