Holy Trinity School is seeking a caring, collaborative, and student-centered Intervention Aide to support students in Grades 4–5. This full-time position provides academic, behavioral, social, and emotional support while working closely with classroom teachers and intervention staff to help every student thrive.

Reports To: Principal and Intervention Specialist/Classroom Teachers
Position Summary
The Intervention Aide supports students academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally within the school setting. This individual works collaboratively with teachers and intervention staff to provide targeted academic support, reinforce classroom instruction, assist with interventions, and promote a positive, faith-filled learning environment rooted in Catholic values.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide small-group and individual academic support in reading, mathematics, writing, and organizational skills.
Reinforce lessons and interventions designed by classroom teachers and intervention specialists.
Assist students with accommodations and modifications outlined in support plans and IEP goals under teacher direction.
Support student growth through progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation of interventions.
Help maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage appropriate student behavior using positive reinforcement and restorative practices.
Support students during classroom activities, transitions, testing, and school-wide events.
Collaborate professionally with teachers, intervention staff, administrators, and families as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters.
Supervise students during assigned duties, including lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and hallway transitions.
Foster Catholic values of respect, compassion, responsibility, and the dignity of every learner.
Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students and staff.
Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to supporting student success.
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Preferred
Associate degree or educational background in a related field.
Experience working with elementary-aged children.
