Position Type: Part-Time All Saints School is a faith-centered, collaborative community dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, academic, and emotional growth of every student. We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organized Intervention Specialist to join our student support team on a part-time basis.
Position Overview This part-time role provides targeted academic support and intervention for students in grades K–8 (predominantly grades 4–8). In addition to delivering direct student services and managing accommodations, this position will also assist in the service tracking, and monthly invoicing required under the Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship program. Key Responsibilities 1. Direct Student Support & Intervention: Deliver targeted, small-group or one-on-one instruction to students with varied learning needs, focusing on remedial support in core subjects. Assist in executing established Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensuring classroom accommodations are seamlessly integrated. Partner dynamically with general education teachers to modify curriculum materials and share behavioral strategies. 2. Jon Peterson Scholarship Tracking & Billing Compliance Maintain meticulous, daily logs of all direct intervention minutes and specific services rendered to student scholarship recipients, ensuring strict alignment with the services agreed upon in their IEPs. Monthly Invoicing: Compile tracked service hours and prepare accurate monthly billing details/invoices to submit via the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) portal or coordination platforms. Progress Reporting: Write and upload mandated progress reports detailing the child's advancement toward IEP goals, providing them to the student's resident public school district to maintain state compliance. 3. Faith & Environment Alignment Uphold and foster the mission, Catholic identity, and values of All Saints School in all interactions with students, staff, and families. Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism regarding student records and financial scholarship details.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Valid Ohio Teaching License as an Intervention Specialist (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive required). - Prior experience navigating the Ohio Department of Education parent/provider portal, tracking intervention minutes, or processing JPSN/Autism Scholarship billing is strongly preferred. - Virtus trained (or willing to complete training and pass a background check prior to employment). - Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail for tracking medical/educational data.
