St. Thomas More Catholic School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Part-Time Intervention Specialist who is excited to support students while living our mission of guiding students to be disciples of Jesus by focusing on spiritual and academic growth.

Position Overview: The Intervention Specialist will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate support and specialized instruction for students identified with Specific Learning Disabilities. The ideal candidate will foster student growth, develop foundational academic and learning skills, and support students in reaching their individual goals while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction and interactions.
Responsibilities: • Provide academic support and specialized instruction to students with identified learning needs • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals and accommodations • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring records • Participate in ETR and IEP meetings as needed • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Education, or related field • Valid Intervention Specialist license • Strong communication and collaboration skills
