K-8 Art Teacher: Assumption Acedemy

Assumption Academy, a Catholic school in the Diocese of Cleveland, is seeking a passionate and creative part-time K–8 Art Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who will inspire students to explore their creativity while fostering an appreciation for art within a faith-filled learning environment. This position offers a flexible schedule, with 3 days per week preferred.

Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging art instruction for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade Foster creativity and artistic expression through a variety of media and techniques Integrate Catholic values into the classroom experience Organize student artwork displays and assist with school art-related events Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field Teaching experience preferred Ohio teaching license preferred Commitment to Catholic education and values Strong classroom management and communication skills Must be VIRTUS trained (or willing to complete training) Salary negotiable upon experience.
