Job Title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher – Kindergarten School: St. Jude School Position Type: Long-Term Substitute (Maternity Leave Coverage) Dates: Mid-March 2026 – June 1, 2026 St. Jude School is seeking a caring, organized, and enthusiastic long-term substitute teacher to serve in our kindergarten classroom during a maternity leave. This position will begin in mid-March 2026 and continue through June 1, 2026.
Position Responsibilities: Provide instruction and classroom management for a kindergarten classroom in accordance with school curriculum and expectations Create a warm, nurturing, and structured learning environment for young students Implement lesson plans and routines left by the classroom teacher Assess student progress and communicate appropriately with administration and support staff Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning and school community Uphold the mission, values, and policies of St. Jude School
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certification preferred Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students strongly preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to maintain a positive, faith-filled learning environment Commitment to professionalism and collaboration Additional Information: This is a long-term substitute position covering maternity leave and is expected to run through the end of the school year on June 1, 2026.
