Long-Term Substitute Teacher in Avon (Junior High – Social Studies & Science): St. Mary Avon
St. Mary School - Avon
Saint Mary School – Avon is seeking a qualified long-term substitute teacher to join our Catholic school community from the opening of the school year in August through the end of September. We welcome applicants who are enthusiastic about working in a faith-based school environment and inspiring students to grow in knowledge, character, and faith. The position will teach Social Studies and Science to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades working closer with the rest of our junior high team. Applicants should have strong instructional skills, good classroom management, hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate, and be committed to supporting the spiritual, intellectual, and social development of junior high students. The successful candidate must get an FBI/BCI background check and complete VIRTUS training before the new year begins.
