Math Enrichment Teacher: Immaculate Heart of Mary School

Job Title: Enrichment Math Teacher Grades 4-8 Job Description: This role will plan and teach a small group of the 4th through 8th grade students an accelerated, standards focused math program, so that by the time 8th grade graduates the school, they will have completed the Algebra 1 curriculum.

Specific Responsibilities: Planning and teaching lessons that take into consideration the different learning styles and abilities of the students. Grading and assessing student progress in the classroom. Creating a safe and welcoming environment for students. Maintaining structure and discipline to best support students and the school. Communicating and collaborating with parents and other teachers about the academics and behaviors of the student. Attending parent-teacher conferences, faculty meetings, and completing other assigned duties.

Qualifications: Middle Childhood (4-9) teaching license with a concentration in Mathematics BCI/FBI background checks and Virtus training are required, and candidate must comply with all school, state and diocesan requirements.
