Job Title: Middle School Social Studies Teacher Location: Saint Rita School, Solon Job Type: Full-Time 26-27 School Year Position Overview: Saint Rita School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our faculty as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher.

Responsibilities: ● Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Social Studies. ● Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, and spiritual growth. ● Incorporate Catholic values and principles into instruction and classroom discussions. ● Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents. ● Implement a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners, including technology integration where appropriate. ● Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and promote interdisciplinary connections. ● Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being. ● Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives as required. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, or a related field required ● Valid teaching certification/license in the applicable subject area(s) and grade level. ● Previous experience teaching middle school students, preferably in a Catholic school setting.
