Paraprofessional/Aide: St. Jude

St. Jude School – Elyria, Ohio Paraprofessional & Classroom Aide Positions 2026–2027 School Year St. Jude School is seeking caring, dependable, and student-centered individuals to serve as paraprofessionals and classroom aides for the 2026–2027 school year. These part-time positions play a vital role in supporting our teachers, students, and overall school community. Position Details: Start Date: Late August 2026 Interview Timeline: June 2026 Schedule: Approximately 28 hours per week (when school is in session) Employment Type: Part-time, hourly, at-will (State of Ohio) Primary Responsibilities: Support classroom teachers with instructional activities and daily routines Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts Assist in maintaining a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment Provide supervision during non-instructional times (lunch, recess, transitions) Help prepare classroom materials and organize learning spaces Foster a nurturing and faith-filled environment aligned with the mission of St. Jude School Qualifications: Experience working with children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students BCI/FBI background check (school will handle) State of Ohio Aide License (school will handle) Virtus Training (school will handle) How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume and any relevant credentials.
