Part-Time Campus Coordinator
St. Patrick Parish is located on Bridge Avenue and has been serving Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood since it was founded in 1853. The St. Malachi Campus Operations Coordinator is a 25-30 hour per week role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at the oratory. Activities may include greeting and directing guests, managing incoming telephone inquiries, receiving mail, directing deliveries, monitoring security, responding to campus emergency needs and engaging with the parish leadership and facilities team as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee campus ministry services such as Food Ministries; ensure adequate on-site staffing and coordinate/assist with food delivery donations as needed
- Monitor and resolve oratory administrative needs or forwards information to the appropriate party to resolve
- Work with facilities maintenance resources to coordinate vendor management and supply needs
- Manage and respond to calls and contacts of a sensitive nature professionally and compassionately
- Liaison with Oratory renter organizations regarding facility operational needs
- Responsible for campus security and emergency management, as needed
- Develop strong relationships with both St. Patrick and St. Malachi staff and understand parish and office organization and culture
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Familiarity and alignment with the teaching, traditions, and values of the Catholic Church
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and problem solve operational issues
- Ability to be flexible and adjust hours worked within normal business hours as needed
- Compliance with Standards of Conduct for Ministers and Policy for the Safety and Protection of Children
- Virtus certification or completion within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualification
- Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
- High level knowledge of wired and/or wireless internet technology
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 8 hours
Campus Operations Coordinator - $22-$26/hour
